A SYNTHESIS OF ETHNOGRAPIC RESEARCH

Ethnographic is a method of social research, it is the basic observation, this mean that the researcher should be aware of surrounding and achieves the knowledge that they want, also the same in their information and data must be accurate. It is a method used in rural and urban environments, and can be used to know the changes in consumers, or to establish elements of the population health.

In the ethnographic method should follow certain principles if wants to complete the investigation and these are: Naturalism, understanding and discovery capabilities.


The ethnographic method involves having people in a specific environment; obtain data and then to present results of such research.


For this type of observation must be taken into account that there are different kinds such as that in which the observer participates in the observed and combined analysis documents, interviews and surveys of participants, the researcher being part of everything.
Key tools is the survey directly facing the ethnographer with informants or the object of their studies and through direct or indirect questions are personal and can achieve the goal of the information sought and desired. All such necessarily help to find the information is quantitative and qualitative.



But also is necessary to take in mind that ethnography must take into account important factors in their studies that are independent of man but that influence how geographical and cultural elements that surround it, and in which man is immersed or group studied.

Recognize characteristics of consumers in a region or country so we can know what is the best way to get there to sell a product taking into account needs and expectations of these consumers.

Culture studies, international business because an important aspect that influences the fact that these business are successful are not recognize the culture of nations is ignored because if this were not achieved good business, we must recognize that culture is essential to know and the ethnographic research can provide important data in this regard because Ethnographic research is important because it helps achieve a better understanding of the companies an laws.

The ethnographic research is very important in international business because it give important information about essential aspect for this negotiation.
